My Dream Ecolodge in the Dominican Republic – What About You?

For almost 2 years, I've been bringing my own ecolodge to life here in the Dominican Republic, taking advantage of the incredible benefits of the Confotur Tourism Law.

Why the Dominican Republic? Because after 15 years here and 40 years in the Caribbean, I'm convinced it's the best island in the Caribbean for a happy life! A year ago, I found an exceptional piece of land above Miches: 5,000 m² of pure bliss with breathtaking views of the ocean and the mountains, within a 9-hectare property (90,000 m²)

The 'Talipot Ecolodge' project is an adventure I'm sharing with Alain, my childhood friend.

We're both engineers, a solid foundation for tackling this challenge with rigor and method. From the start, we chose to surround ourselves with the best: visionary architects, local construction experts, financial advisors, tax specialists, and lawyers specializing in Dominican law... Our goal? To carry out this project in the best possible conditions of quality, cost, and timeline. After a year of hard work, we can confidently say that we've mastered all aspects of the project, from design to execution. And our understanding of the Confotur law is a major asset: we know how to exploit all its advantages to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the ecolodge.
